Menstruation Matters
A lack of safe menstrual hygiene products and facilities lead to girls missing school and an increased risk of dangerous infections. Flow Girl supports local organization in Kenya with menstrual products and education materialsso that they can continue their work and reach out to more girls. Menstruation is a subject of taboo and great shame; girls suffer in silence. Flow Girl works to keep girls in school and end period shame.

Menstrual Cups and Reusable Sanitary Towels
We only work with sustainable products like menstrual cups and reusable sanitary towels. Flow Girl is happy to educate about how to work with menstrual cups if necessary. However, it is the organizations in place with local roots that best determine what kind of menstrual protection is suitable in their work in specific areas.
The Educational Toolkit
Good education needs adequate tools. The Educational Toolkit is a collection of models, posters, and booklets, created by Flow Girl together with its partner. It’s an easy to use kit made for educating youths on puberty, menstruation, and everything in between.
